Joy Ride was originally released in 1984. Washington D.C.’s Government Issue has shared the stage with some of the most influential punk and hardcore band to have ever existed; Minor Threat, Void, Bad Brains, Misfits, Scream and so many more. G.I. was and STILL IS widely respected as one of the “founding fathers” of the early D.C. scene.
