Kaleidoscope

Ukrainian producer Klim makes his Cold Busted debut with Kaleidoscope.

Each cut introduces a new angle: clipped percussion, chopped source material, bass-heavy sequences and small details that reveal themselves with each pass.

The title fits the record’s restless construction. Patterns split apart and reconnect, while familiar hip-hop foundations are rearranged into changing shapes. The result is a varied record that keeps its centre, from the opening bars of The Right Way through the closing Keep Doing.
