The EP's new songs all show that the band were in the midst of a burst of inspiration as they wrote the 'In Spite of Everything' album. 'Love Song For A Dutch Prostitute' sources a delicate beauty in imagining the most fleeting of connections during a work conference to Amsterdam; 'I Know That It's Alright' builds from glitch-pop psychedelia into a distorted shoegaze finale; and 'Wanna Do' instantly hits hard with a grungy attack and power-pop dynamics.
