King Of All Kings (25th Anniversary)

Death metal rarely gets more blood-curdling than Hate Eternal. Hailing from the subgenre’s mecca of Florida, they made themselves kingpins of their scene at the turn of the millennium, building a legacy that persists to this day. As they set their eyes on following up their corrosive 1999 debut Conquering The Throne, they created for the 2002 follow-up King Of All Kings a blackly fantastical narrative that offered a hellish twist on time-honoured fables of kings and gods.

Coursing with adrenaline and dread, the band crafted a truly relentless body of work, thick with abyss-scraping gutturals, slamming riffs and drums that blast at practically supersonic speed. Twenty-five years since its original release, it’s time for their unparalleled brutality to be reaffirmed.
