La Chica De Plexiglas / LA Vision

A genuine landmark in Spanish pop, El Aviador Dro y sus Obreros Especializados’ La Chica De Plexiglas and LA Vision gather the group’s first two singles, originally released in 1980 and 1981, alongside two tracks rescued from a lost 1980 recording session that never made it out as a single.

This edition follows the original 1983 mini-LP exactly as it was first compiled. It still sounds wildly ahead of its time: techno-punk from Spain with the forward-thinking pulse of Kraftwerk, Devo and The Residents, built from futuristic electronics long before computers became everyday tools.

Out of print since 1985, this is a welcome return for a groundbreaking piece of early-’80s Spanish pop, brought back into circulation in collaboration with Discos Banana.
