Françoise Hardy is the second studio album by French pop singer Françoise Hardy, released in October 1963 on LP by the French label Disques Vogue.
Like her earlier album, it arrived without an official title, with only her name appearing on the cover. Over time, it became widely known by the title of its most successful song, Le Premier Bonheur du jour — “The First Joy of the Day”.
A key early release from Hardy, this 1963 LP captures the understated style and melodic clarity that made her such a distinctive voice in French pop.
