First ever CD release of Lady Macbeth, an epic concept album by Jon Symon. This album is the follow-up to Symon’s acclaimed ‘Warlock’ concept album. The CD features the 1984 non-album single ‘Lady Macbeth’, which now appears in its rightful place in the score. It has been fully remastered for an enhanced listening experience.
During the early 70s, John Symon was known as a one-man band called Rasputin, as well as Jon Symon’s One Man Band. He toured throughout Germany and Austria, and also made appearances on several TV shows. Symon released a couple of singles before gaining more recognition in the 80s for his Warlock musical works.
The highlight of the 1983 album’s release was a performance in front of 7000 people at Berlin’s ICC (International Congress Centre). ‘Lady Macbeth’ was originally released a year after ‘Warlock’ and was performed by Lower Saxony’s State Theatre in Hannover. The album is based on William Shakespeare’s story of 1606, adding a unique twist to Symon’s musical repertoire.
