Lamentations Of The Shadowkingdoms

With their new album, Dungeon Serpent present a unique and epic take on melodic death / black metal, taking elements of hidden-gem 90s Swedish melodic death metal and ushering in a new era for the genre.

After five years of silence and meticulous work, Dungeon Serpent return with their second album, Lamentations of the Shadowkingdoms. Having already constructed a standout style of death metal with World of Sorrows, they sharpened their focus on fusing morbid and romantic strains of extreme metal from before the turn of the century.

Now they look to a future of their own creation, stretching to new horizons and breathing new life into the ruined world of the first album. The result is a work of grand ambition and unbowed passion, not content to merely fine-tune and repeat the past.
