Little Deuce Coupe

Little Deuce Coupe is the fourth studio album by the Beach Boys, and their third album release in 1963.

Released just three weeks after Surfer Girl, it captures the group moving fast and thinking bigger, with a set that is now widely seen as one of the earliest examples of a rock concept album.

The record reached number four in the United States, spending 46 weeks on the chart, and was eventually certified platinum by the RIAA.

Four of its tracks had already appeared on earlier albums: Shut Down, 409, Our Car Club and Little Deuce Coupe. And, discounting an alternate recording of Be True to Your School, none of the album’s tracks were issued as an A-sided single.
