Live at the Galaxy, LA, July 1967

A valuable historical document, which captures the Iron Butterfly in action in 1967 on the stage of the Galaxy, the historic club located on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. It is the original line-up of the San Diego band, made up of Doug Ingle (vocals and organ), Jack Pinney (drums), Greg Willis (bass) and Danny Weis (guitar. Their mix of psychedelic and acid rock tinged with blues, hard and proto metal takes shape in tracks such as 'Real Fright', 'Filled With Fear' and 'Lonely Boy' (later included in the 'album' Ball ') and other tracks not included on the LP such as Gloomy Day To Remember.
