Live in Sonic Studios NY 1973

Gram Parsons and the Fallen Angels were recorded at Sonic Studios in Hempstead, New York, on March 13, 1973, during a live radio broadcast for WLIR-FM, the station based in Garden City, New York.

That date places the recording right between Parsons' only two solo studio albums, GP and Grievous Angel, the latter released after his early death.

Just as on those studio records, Emmylou Harris brings her unmistakable duet and harmony vocals to the session. The Fallen Angels, though, are not the same band heard on the two studio albums.
