Lou Reed

'lou reed' from 1972 was recorded in between the velvet underground's 'loaded' lp and his own 'transformer' lp and it sounds something like a cross between the two era's of his careerr. many of the tracks that are featured on this album were originally written for 'loaded', but ultimately ended up being dropped from that album. the standout tracks are 'lisa says', 'i love you' and 'wild child' have turned up on a number of lou reed's multiple best hits collections. this cd reissue is remastered from the original tapes and comes with new photos and extensive sleeve notes.
