Beyond Orbits

Miho Hazama presents Beyond Orbits, her vibrant new album performed by her ensemble m_unit which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023. This album is a testament to Miho's endless creativity and artistic vision that has led to the remarkable growth of her career in Japan, Europe, and the US.

Driven by a desire to escape the political turbulence of the past couple of years, Miho embarked on writing an album inspired by planets beyond our solar system. Thanks to a prestigious commission from the Monterey Jazz Festival, Miho created the "Exoplanet Suite" which is at the heart of this new record, music that paints images of the complex web of planets beyond our reach.
