Originally released in September 2001, Magnification found Yes returning to orchestral textures for the first time since 1970’s Time and a Word. Arranged by composer Larry Groupé and performed by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, it brings real sweep and detail to this late-period studio set.
It includes the title track, Don’t Go, In the Presence Of, and Give Love Each Day, with Chris Squire on vocals. It’s also the final Yes studio album with Jon Anderson and, without a keyboard player, the first to feature just four members.
The lineup is Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, and Alan White. This 25th Anniversary Edition 2LP was cut at half-speed, pressed on 180g vinyl, and comes in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Bob Cesca based on his original 2001 designs.
