This compilation primarily collects remixes and original material put out on Blackest Ever Black label over the past few years. The vinyl version, a double-LP, features eight tracks, including Regis reworks of Ike Yard, Dalhous, Vatican Shadow and more, plus original cuts "Blinding Horses" (which appeared on Regis's first Blackest Ever Black release back in 2010) and "C U 1" (originally released on a self-titled Downwards sublabel). Several previously unreleased tracks also make it onto the vinyl, including an alternate version of Tropic Of Cancer's "Plant Lilies At My Head" and a remix of Family Sex's "Manbait." A handful of extras appear on the 12-track CD and digital versions, too. One of Regis's best-known Blackest Ever Black cuts, 2010's "Blood Witness," gets a re-release, bundled with several additional takes on "Blinding Horses."
