Featuring members of Transglobal Underground, Heliocentrics, and Zun Zun Egui, and not least the saxophone virtuosity of Acoustic Ladyland's Pete Wareham, Melt Yourself Down's stellar line-up does not disappoint.
They distill a music that is brimming with ideas, energy, and vitality — a veritable one-band festival full of color and sonic restlessness derived from afrobeat, jazz, and an enormous sense of melody. This is an audacious and brave artistic statement, yet one handled with care and a cultured deftness. This allows the sprawl to retain both a sense of focus and some seriously memorable tunes.
The LP is 140 Gram White Vinyl limited to 300 copies, most of which went into the Leaf Box Set and comes with a CD Version.
