Mountain Bloom

While London based duo Mountain Blooms' self debut album channels The Postal Service/DNTEL (and to a lesser extent Bright Eyes Digital Ash.. or Windmill's Puddle City Racing), their self titled debut is a creature very much of it's own making. Certainly standout tracks and singles Locked In and U-32 with their hazing arpeggios, deep dyed in reverb and filters suggest they're capable of moving past plain comparisions and into a sound fully their own. A good beginning, worth exploring.
