Baxter Dury presents a 20-year Best Of collection titled Mr Maserati 2001 to 2021, showcasing two decades of his idiosyncratically louche music. The album takes listeners on a journey through a universe of late-night London meet-ups, shuffling basslines, and comedown disco tunes, all infused with a wry bleakness and a sweet love of humanity.

Mr Maserati features tracks from Baxter Dury's six albums, as well as a new song titled "D.O.A." In discussing the new track, Baxter Dury reflects, "It’s a kind of provincial nod to the music I got into during lockdown because my son Kosmo was playing it – Frank Ocean, Tyler the Creator, and Kendrick Lamar. I became obsessed. They’re embracing everything – sexuality, politics, all of it – and I find that inspiring."
