My People Were Fair and Had Sky in Their Hair... But Now They're Content to Wear Stars on Their Brows is the 1968 debut album by Tyrannosaurus Rex (later known as T. Rex). The album reached number 15 in the UK Album Chart upon initial release. The album's music represented for Bolan a rejection of the electric guitar - led music he'd been playing with his previous band, John's Children.

CD - On this reissue the original album was remixed and remastered by Tony Visconti and Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios. The rest of the remaining Bonus Material was remastered by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios. CD One - The Mono version of the album plus 12 Bonus Tracks (6 for which were recorded for John Peel's Top Gear Programme in 1967 and a further 6 that were recorded for John Peel's Top Gear Programme in 1968. 12 songs on Disc One are Previously Unreleased versions. CD Two features 25 tracks. 4 Songs from the long lost Joe Boyd Session - 2 of which are Previously Unreleased. 12 Songs are the original Stereo version of the album. 7 Tony Visconti Home Demos  - 5 of  which are Previously Unreleased and 2 tracks are Marc Boland Interviews and are Previously Unreleased.
