Vangelis'sMythodea is an epic choral symphony originally composed in 1993. With the support of NASA and the Greek government, he recorded the symphony in Greece's Music Hall.
The composition features two harpists, the 120-person chorus of the Greek National Opera, the 75-person London Metropolitan Orchestra, and some percussionists. With a classical mood, Vangelis explores new musical territories in Mythodea.
His self-written pseudo lyrics sound incredible in the vocal harmonies from the chorus, allowing the listener to choose their own meaning of the movements.
