Bob Dylan’s ninth studio album was recorded in Nashville over 10 days in February 1969, with a group of local session musicians, and released just two months later. It contains one of his most beloved and successful songs in “Lay Lady Lay” as well as a duet with Johnny Cash on a new version of the early Dylan classic “Girl From The North Country”. Other singles from the album include “I Threw It All Away” and“Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You”.
