Nibiru is Ozuna’s third album. Rumours about it began to emerge following posts on his social media channels that used the hashtag #Nibiru—a hashtag also featured in the video for “Baila Baila Baila.”
“Baila Baila Baila,” “Te Soñé de Nuevo,” “Amor Genuino,” “Hasta Que Salga El Sol,” and “Fantasía” were released as promotional singles for the album.
On September 18, after Benicio Bryan’s appearance alongside Ozuna on America’s Got Talent, the show’s host at the time, Terry Crews, announced to the audience that Nibiru would be released in late November.
As promised, the album was released on November 29, 2019, through Sony Music Latino and Ozuna’s new label, Aura Music.
