Babe Haven are a queer punk band with a riot grrrl attitude and a sharp nu-metal edge. Formed in Boone, NC by Lillie Della Penna and Naomi Poesel, they make songs of empowerment and resistance packed with raw aggression.
They have quickly become a key presence in modern punk, selling out shows across the US and sharing stages with Die Spitz, Mannequin Pussy, Soft Play, and Pup. It is easy to hear why their live sets leave such a mark.
Their sophomore album, Nuisance, pushes their sound further, pulling nu-metal, thrash, and punk into one fierce, full-force statement. It is a bold step forward that confirms Babe Haven as one of punk’s most vital rising voices.
