Oh Dear!

Charm, modesty and a lot of talent. As one of the most characteristic sounding groups in Europe today, Perry Dear display their very distinctive sound that has made them one of the most in demand groups on the Big Beat scene. Nowadays there are a significant lot of contemporary bands playing garage rock. Furthermore there are a handful of groups playing Merseybeat and even fewer Shadows instrumental bands. And then there´s Perry Dear and the Dearstalkers. Steeped in the golden age of the instrumental circa April 1962 to December 1963, when Fender six string bass instrumentals posed a serious threat to both Merseybeat and the Shadows guitar groups. It is no exaggeration to state that they are experts in their field. Just listen for yourself. After several EPS and their fantastic debut LP Six‐String Holiday, the talented Norwegian quartet went to the famous London‐based Toe Rag studio for two days and recorded their second LP, Oh Dear!.
