naim's sound definitely inhabits it's own time and space - possibly even it's own galaxy - which in this day and age is a rare and beautiful thing! his child-hood love affair with synths is still a huge part of his production which is retro-futuristic in the best possible way. swinging from dilla-esque simplicity and dance-floor destroyers in the hot chip mould, the sounds emanating from his home studio are embellished with lyrics born of an acute pop-sensibility. with his brother already a fully-fledged star in the danish pre-teen pop arena, it's no wonder naim's songs come armed with a charming naivety reminiscent of early bjork.
