P*KI [pee-star-kay-eye]

It’s time for Ahad’s biggest move yet: his first full-length album, P*KI. Powerful, deeply personal and unapologetic, it’s rooted in the dancefloor and in Ahad’s belief that club culture is a place where he can “exist completely authentically.”

By reclaiming a word he has personally been confronted with, Ahad turns P*KI (pronounced Pee-Star-Kay-Eye) into a statement of joy, pride, celebration and self-love. It’s a record that feels open, direct and fully committed to the club as a space of freedom.

The singles set the tone: Put That Banger On Next, with London MC Capo Lee, hits with high-voltage grime energy; Make Space salutes the diverse communities finding solace in London nightlife; and Left / Right, with Dismantle and Jam-akabi, drives a dark, futuristic breaks sound for warehouse floors. Across the album, Ahad pushes his UK club sound through gqom, drum’n’bass, South Asian classical instruments, Punjabi folk and qawwali.
