Volcano! presents their second album, Paperwork. Described as prog, complex, experimental, lush, polyrhythmic, post-rock, jarring, uplifting, catchy, and mind-blowing, 'Paperwork' showcases the magnificently wonky otherness of the band's sound.

Their debut album, 'Beautiful Seizure', was highly acclaimed, named the number 2 album of 2006 by Drowned in Sound readers and receiving a perfect 10/10 review on the site. After a two-year hiatus, the band returns with a more mature and direct record, still showcasing their complex layering of sounds but with greater focus and structure, making it more danceable than ever before.

'Paperwork' delves into themes of workplace issues, loss of idealism, and a coming of age story, with frontman Aaron With delivering meaningful lyrics. The album is housed in a superbly designed digipak, meeting the high standards set by the Leaf label.
