Judith Ahrends, a singer, producer, and visual artist from Berlin, has embarked on a journey through her life for her new concept album. In songs and images, she artistically captures atmospheric fragments of diverse places. Beginning with the playful lightness of her childhood village of Hollenstedt, her journey leads her to Kleinmachnow, where the motorway hums quietly in the background, mingling with the wind in the pines, then on to Seattle, Hanover, Berlin, and Luckenwalde, where the nightingale galls. Is there an inner place, detached from space and time? An inner home? Judith explores this question through vocals, electronic sounds, and visual artworks.
