Playpunk

'architorti playpunk' : a presentation of transcriptions of the most significant works by the ramones, the sex pistols, clash and other international protagonists of punk, with or without video enhancement. the quintetto architorti is a traditional string quintet with two violins, a viola, a cello, and a string bass. the group boasts a vast repertory of transcriptions of pieces from all musical genres. the transcriptions that have become the artistic strongpoint and signature of the ensemble are the creations of cellist marco robino. versatility and adaptability are the functional and organizational characteristics of the quintet. architorti essentially works on four levels that may naturally overlap or combine at times.
