Plonk

'plonk' is some of the most highly refined techno, here reducing the rhythm to a submerged bass grunt and heavily filtered acid line, and coalescing the two into a reactant deep techno groove that just kills all comers with a deviant dancefloor attitude sounding quite like no other. the original is a useful number, with stronger percussion designed for peak time play, but the dub version is where it's at, holding back the percussion for ages and letting that groove nestle right inside yer head before shuffling up some essential hi-hats and working up the rhythm into a controlled rumble that demands to be danced to. brill.
