These two revolutionary proto Breakbeat / Funk / Dub high tempo dance floor killer intrumentals have been extracted from the 1970 Eastwood Rides Again album from 1970... 50 years on and they still sound incredibly innovating and irresitible today! This release is definitely for the dance floor - heavy on breaks, drums, bass and Dub and these are highlighted further by the special loud cut pressing.

Popcorn has been never issued on 7" vinyl previously. It has been more recently highlighted on the fantastic Soul Jazz 100% Dynamite compilation album from 1998. Popcorn is an incredible up tempo breakbeat instrumental, predating everybody else by years, a dancefloor bomb full of syncopated beats, bass and drums. Awesome dance floor tune, absolutely unstoppable!

Tight Spot is the very rare 7" vinyl single version with Dave Barker on the microphone. It's an up tempo proto dub, full of hypnotic organ, sharp guitars, with several layers of sounds completed by Barkers's manic laughs and screams. Do not miss the exotic clarinet somewhere in the background... A truly unique and magical LSP dance floor creation!!!
