Punk Rockin' At Ranscombe

The Burntwick Smugglers are a five-piece punk rock band from Medway, known for sharp covers of older hits. After a line-up change, they set aside originals to focus on songs from a time when music felt raw and direct, with carefully chosen cuts that mean something.

Ronnie says their mission is “to educate and enlighten.” The line-up features Tex on bass, Andy on drums, Chris on vocals, Ronnie on rhythm guitar and Ash on lead guitar, each with roots in Medway bands including Pits and Carnage, Sulphate, The Spirals, The Crustaceons, The Throttles and Pulse.

Punk Rockin’ at Ranscombe is their second release and collects five live favourites. The band have supported The 5.6.7.8’s, Auntie Vegetable and The Prisoners at their unplanned 2021 reunion gig.
