Rachmaninoff

Pianist Mao Fujita presents his first album dedicated to Sergei Rachmaninoff, bringing together some of the composer's most beloved and deeply personal works. Alongside solo piano repertoire, including several pieces arranged by Mao Fujita himself, the album features Rachmaninoff's iconic Piano Concerto No. 3 recorded with the Gewandhausorchester under Andris Nelsons. From celebrated favourites such as the Vocalise and Zdes' khorosho to the rarely recorded Piano Sonata No. 1, the album offers a rich and multifaceted portrait of one of music's greatest Romantic voices.
