Rags to Rufus is the breakthrough 1974 album by Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, blending funk, soul, R&B, and jazz influences into a vibrant, groove-driven sound. It established the group's signature style: tight musicianship, infectious rhythms, and Khan's powerhouse vocals.
