Tahiti 80 return with Rejoice (An Inventory of Pop Maps), their eleventh album, due in September 2026. It feels like the record they have always wanted to make: open, curious and free of constraints, with songs that stand alone but still connect as one complete set.

There is a real sense of range here, somewhere between the looseness of the White Album and the eclectic flow of a Souljazz compilation. Powerful songwriting meets fresh musical exploration, while still holding onto the melodic, groove-led identity that has always made Tahiti 80 instantly recognisable.

Formed in Rouen in the mid-1990s and named after a souvenir T-shirt, Tahiti 80 broke through with their gold-selling debut, Puzzle, in 1999. That album launched them onto the international stage, with appearances at Reading, Fuji Rock and SXSW, and tours that sealed their reputation.
