Up-and-coming Singaporean shoegaze band motifs' debut album LP repressed on clear vinyl. The members are Elspeth Ong (Vocals, Guitar), Jit Jenn Tan (Lead Guitar), Badrul Amin (Synths, Vocals, Guitar), Paul Yuen (Bass), Jolin Chiam (Drums, Percussions). Percussions), and Jolin Chiam (Drums, Percussions). Their masterpiece debut album remember a stranger was released digitally only in November 2022 and was well received by shoegaze and dream pop lovers. The record was co-released by fastcut records (JPN) and Shelflife Records (US) in February 2023 and sold out immediately. The album is a collection of songs that reflect fragments of Elspeth Ong's adolescent memories. The album's artwork is a dreamy mix of nostalagic, ephemeral soundscapes, noisy guitar layers, and aurora-like synthesizers. The album contains nine tracks, including the first single "fluorescent" and the second single "lovelost," both of which are popular at live performances.
