possibly one of the best areal releases for some time here, as synclair's works get remixed by expander, cylob and kid 606. first up is the expander which is probably the most straight up of the four included here - a slow-building minimal techno workout that works very nicely. up next is rephlex badboy, cylob, who marries electronica with italo disco and a solid kick drum, not to mention offkey melodies that shift and evolve, occasionally lapsing into warped noise. over on the b side, kid 606 gives us two heavy techno mixes, leaving you thinking: what more could you want?
