What is “Wuw”, you ask? “WuW” is the sound wind makes when it blows on a hot night, it’s a low-end murmur that grabs you by the guts, a blast of air rushing through the mountains and the oceans. French metal / post metal veterans, brothers Benjamin and Guillaume Colin new project drawing inspiration from doom / post-hardcore/sludge (Harvey Milk, Acid King, Neurosis), to 90's Black Metal (Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Emperor) to Prog/psychedelic / krautrock from the 70s (King Crimson, Magma, Can, Brian Eno) to Experimental electronic music (Autechre, Ben Frost, Boards Of Canada) and beyond. Members are classically trained percussionists and have performed with and recorded a number of jazz outfits, pop bands, classical contemporary orchestras, world music ensembles as well as traditional Middle Eastern musicians.
