Road To Nowhere – Liverpool Legends (12” Collection)

Strawberry Fields Forever (written by John Lennon) and Penny Lane (written by Paul McCartney) were both tracks on a double 'A' side single released by The Beatles in February 1967, reaching No. 2 in the UK and No. 1 in the Billboard Charts. Strawberry Field (or at least its famous gates) can still be found in Woolton, Liverpool (take a right off Menlove Avenue as you head towards the city) and Penny Lane (minus a barbers shop) is still a street in Allerton, Liverpool (take a left off Smithdown Road as you head towards town).
