Robotic Futuristic

More good news for fans of Luke Vibert’s Plug output. Hot on the heels of the Variety Magic album, released earlier this year, De:tuned returns to the vault with four more previously unreleased Plug tracks.

Following the acclaimed 11-track Variety Magic, which saw Vibert unearth and hand-pick a collection of forgotten jungle and drum & bass gems from his original mid-90s DAT archive, Robotic Futuristic digs even deeper into the same treasure trove.

The EP takes its title from one of the tracks and opens with Luke Vibert’s personal favourite, Bring A Fuckin’ Army: a full-on jungle workout driven by rolling breaks, heavyweight bass and that unmistakable Plug funk. Stencil art by Pablo Fiasco and rewired by Openmind. Mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis.
