Although “Brian Wilson” first appeared as a studio track in 1992, the rollicking performance on Barenaked Ladies’ 1996 live album Rock Spectacle helped make the song a hit.

The recording captures the band’s connection with their audience and marked their U.S. breakthrough, setting up the success of its follow-up, Stunt. Remastered for its vinyl debut on its 30th anniversary, it captures one of the great live acts of their generation at their best.
