Kentucky-born singer-songwriter Hunter Flynn introduces his “Appalachian Soul” sound on his debut album,Roots, via Nashville Harbor Records and Entertainment. Blending bluegrass-tinged country, folk, blues and gospel with Southern rock and a powerful vocal delivery, the 16-track collection features songs all written or co-written by Flynn. Rooted in lived experience, the album explores the people, places, love and loss that shaped him, pairing raw, small-town storytelling with a willingness to push beyond his earliest musical influences.
