boci is a Bristol based violinist and songwriter creating alt-folk / alt-pop. Her use of violin loops, synths and effects pedals allows her to create cinematic, layered textures which evolve into dynamic and intricate arrangements. scenes from uniXia steps into a bold, maximalist musical vision set in boci's own world uniXia. Drawing inspiration from ancient myths and existential quests, the album weaves a tapestry of musical narratives that traverse the landscapes of self-annihilation, rebirth and transformation. Themes of loss, longing, healing, and hope run throughout the album.
