Featuring members of The Flatmates and Lonely Tourist among their ranks, Peru continue where they left off with layers of Felt / Orange Juice / Commotions-esque guitars chiming along behind a solid, Northern Soul inspired backbeat which masks dark lyrics about suicide in a Scottish seaside town. AA-side 'Time on the Clock' is an upbeat slice of classic indiepop in the vein of early Creation/C86 bands such as The Bodines, McCarthy and The Smiths.
