back in stock. laurent garnier was born in 1966, and is considered as the french techno godfather and as one of the best djs in the world, playing a key role in the development of the electronic music scene all over in the past 20 years. growing up, garnier got hooked on vinyl, because a family friend was the general manager at the cbs music label, and therefore managed to acquire a rare collection of 12 inches. after few eps on fnac dance division label, he founded the independent french label, f communications with eric morand. laurent began in 1991, the production of mini-albums, which inevitably led to his first real album in 1994, 'shot in the dark'.
