Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October to release Songs From An Open Book.

Promising to be raw and emotional, Justin Furstenfeld, vocalist / songwriter / guitarist for the Platinum-selling rock band Blue October, has decided to bring his "An Open Book: An Evening With Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October" tour to life in a new album, titled Songs From An Open Book.

Furstenfeld has recorded stripped down versions of classic Blue October songs, giving them a more intimate feeling. In between songs, Justin answers questions from the audience, discusses what the music means to him, and explains where he was at those points in his life. ''I look forward to people hearing this record, said Furstenfeld. ''Through poetry, music, and conversation, we heal. Why not do it together.''

Truly a unique album, Songs From An Open Book is heartfelt music and intimate spoken word, giving a new perspective into the past, present, and future of Furstenfeld and Blue October.
