can we introduce you to the guys who make up space invadas? katalyst is the sydney based producer ashley anderson. his solo releases have all been aria nominated and established a strong fan base for his work. he also runs the invada label with portishead's geoff barrow. vocalist steve spacek landed in sydney via london and la having worked with j dilla, slum village and common. steve's got that curtis mayfield, marvin gaye thing going on and has been championed by everyone from entertainment weekly to mos def. giles peterson from bbc1 called him 'the voice of modern soul'. working together as space invadas they mix bonafide soul with laid back hip hop to create a futuristic genre-bending sound.
