Strange Boutique (Reissue)

Released in February 1980, their first album Strange Boutique features the Monochrome Set's percussion-heavy theme song (predating Adam and The Ants's Kings of the Wild Frontier by months) and the Johnny Marr-anticipating "Love Goes Down The Drain."

This album caught the Monochrome Set in full flight, quickly followed by the equally taut, funny, and adventurously dynamic Love Zombies.
