Surrender to the Fantasy

It's been four years since Magik Markers offered up their last studio LP, 'Balf Quarry', but the Connecticut noise rockers make their return with the release of a new set called 'Surrender to the Fantasy' on Drag City. This is the first LP to feature bassist John 'The Saw' Shaw (Son of Earth, the Believers), though he's been a 'monolithic presence' within the group since 2009. The trio's 11-song cycle kicks off with 'Crebs,' a punky song apparently "about the Chesapeake Valley Runoff and the mating cycle of crabs."
