Treading in the footsteps of long forgotten ghosts and taking compass readings along the way from the likes of : The Modern Lovers, Swell Maps and The Fall , Ginnel are bringing old sounds to new ears. After playing support slots with the likes of The Lovely Eggs, Bob Vylan, Deja Vega and Billy Nomates, the band set up camp in 6db studios Salford Manchester with producer Simon Ding Archer ( PJ Harvey and The Pixies )and also worked with Anthony Chapman ( Collapsed Lung, The Arndales ) to create the debut album. The bands first single Blueprint, a limited run of 200, was sold out before it was released in October 2020. The second single IS REAL , from this album was a digital release and had over 3000 hits on you tube in first few weeks . The art work is by Paul Simpson ( The Teardrop Explodes, The Wild Swans ) and comes in full colour , with a numbered inner sleeve. Ltd edition 400.
